Graffiti Highway | Harrisburg Senior Photographer | #BePresent52 Week 13

Last weekend, this Harrisburg Senior Photographer took her kiddos to Centralia, PA to visit the deserted Graffiti Highway. Many stories are around about this place. Police arresting people, drugs being dealt, beautiful art, etc.

Well, I didn’t see any signs that said to keep out or POSTED or anything that gave me the impression that we weren’t allowed to be there, but we did see lots of interesting art in this  Central PA location. If you don’t know about this area, I suggest you do some digging. Here’s a link to the Trip Advisor site

As a Harrisburg Senior Photographer, I like to explore the area around me. Taking my kids to see the area is also important. There’s many locations that so many people never visit. We were excited to see what Graffiti highway held.

Many are looking to demolish this old Highway. There’s a petition to sign, if you’d like to keep this part of our Central PA history alive and well. You can find it here You can also visit the Friends of Graffiti Highway Facebook Page

Oh and starting next Monday, some awesome photographer friends and I are starting a Summer Photo Challenge. Learn how to take great summer images in our private Facebook group from professional photographers for FREE!! Interested? Join HERE We’d love to have you!
