I can’t believe that it’s been a year since I captured this Class of 2020 grads’ Cedar Cliff Senior Pictures. We started in Mechanicsburg and ended at Cedar Cliff for Camp Hill Senior Photos. Jake came with his personality this day (thank goodness), and that dimple that his mama just loves!
Senior guy pictures are quickly becoming my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, girls, I LOVE your sessions and the magic that we create. But Senior guys are just slightly easier. Most of them don’t really want to be getting senior pictures taken and mom has pushed them into coming to make her happy. So I use that to my advantage. Several of Jake’s “real smile” pictures were captured when I said “ok, smile for mom”. It made him laugh because he knew exactly what I meant. I would also ask him to just look at mom, or his sister, and boom, REAL SMILE! Even if he didn’t want to, a silly face from mom, brought it out!
I’ve known Jake and his family for several years. His little sister and my youngest have been friends for a long time. I was honored to be asked to capture his senior memories.
We started Jake’s session at Messiah College. Jake is pretty chill, however, he was NOT getting in that creek! No way. No how! So we put him on a rock beside it instead. 🙂
Camp Hill Photos
We ended Jake’s session at Cedar Cliff High School for his Camp Hill Senior Photos. Jake played Lacrosse in high school and I’m glad that we got to get his jersey and take some images before their senior year got sent to the crapper with COVID! Jake’s mom being on his senior pictures in the summer before his senior year started paid off for them!
Jake is headed to Pittsburgh to The University of Pitt in the fall. Pittsburgh is my favorite city, so I am personally excited for him. I hope he enjoys Pittsburgh as much as I did when I lived out there! I’m sure that he will do amazing things!
Are you ready to book your senior session?! I’ve got a few more summer dates and my fall dates are also open. Get on the calendar now
