Have you booked your Senior Photos yet? Choosing the right photographer for you can be stressful, but once you have that out of the way, preparing for your Senior Pictures can also be stressful. Let’s see if I can help make this time a little easier for you.
In the weeks leading up to your senior pictures, follow these guidelines and let me take care of the rest.
Choose 2-3 outfits to wear during your session. Lay them out or hang then so that they are ready to go. Make sure that they are clean and wrinkle free.
Make sure that you pick accessories for each of your outfits. Necklaces can pack a big bunch when you are keeping the rest of the outfit simple. Scarves and headbands can add a pop of color or pattern to your outfit. Bring matching socks and shoes for each outfit as well.
Thinking of including some props in your senior pictures? NOW is the time to get them together so that you don’t forget them. Ballet shoes, a favorite book, sports gear, etc. Maybe your car is your prop. Make sure to have it washed and shined up the day before your session.
Get your hair cut 1-2 weeks prior to your session. Don’t drastically change it from your normal hair style in case you don’t like it. Ask your hair stylist while you’re there for some easy styles you can do during outfit changes to switch it up a bit.
Practice your makeup the week leading up to your session so that you can get it just right the day of. If you’d like someone to do your makeup for you, I’m happy to offer some suggestions.
I hope that these tips help you prepare for your senior session. If you haven’t booked your session yet, my Summer is filling up and Fall has been posted and won’t take long to fill up as well. Contact me today for more information on my senior sessions!
